Since
vanadium-aluminum must be kept free from contamination
by other products, all vanadium production is completely
isolated from operations that produce molybdenum,
columbium, chromium, and other alloys. This separate
plant, shown below, eliminates possible cross-contamination:

complete line of non-vanadium master alloys are produced
in their own facility, using either vacuum-induction
